CHIPPENDALE CARVED MAHOGANY WING CHAIR. Late 18th Century. The arched crest rail above the over upholstered rectangular back flanked by Ogival wings continuing to rolled arms centering the trapezoidal seat with cushion, raised on frontal short cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet. The rear shaped back swept legs with pad feet. SIZE: 42-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Very good overall. Frame has been tightened, chair reupholstered. 9-99975 (1,200-1,800)
