SIX PIECE LOT OF DECATUR FAMILY ITEMS. 1 & 2) Two identical steel embossing plates of the Decatur crest along with an impression on paper. The image of a dragon head over a crown with banner top and bottom with Latin phrase “Prolibertate et Patria-Dulce est Periculum”. 3 & 4) Two brass “S Decatur” stencils. 5) Printing block half portrait of Susan Decatur. 6) Miniature replica of an early sword. Comes with original scabbard. The sword blade is marked with a shield and “Meyer” and blade engraved “US”. SIZE: 1 & 2) 1″ sq. 3 & 4) 1-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ and 1-1/2″ x 6-3/4″. 5) 4-3/4″ x 3-3/4″. 6) 9-1/2″ l. CONDITION: 1 & 2) Very good. 3 & 4) Intact but with bends. 5) Blemish outside of portrait otherwise good. 6) Scabbard missing some of its black paint but generally very good. 9-98734 (500-1,000)
