LOT OF FOURTEEN FAMILY PORTRAITS. 1) Sixth plate daguerreotype of an unidentified man in a full view close-up of his head. He has long extended sideburns and tinted striped collar. 2) Sixth plate daguerreotype of an unidentified man in half view. Housed in a signed Anson New York case. Tinting to face. 3) Ninth plate daguerreotype of Lieutenant John P. Decatur, U.S.N. (1823-1857). Half portrait with penned identification paper attached to the case. 4) Sixth plate oval daguerreotype of Mrs. William H Parsons (Anna P. Decatur) (1812-1896). 5-14) Include ten other images of men, women and children unidentified in quarter to ninth sizes. CONDITION: 5-14 as found with some images and cases damaged. 9-97938 (800-1,200)
