ATTRIBUTED TO GEORGE INNESS (AMERICAN, 1825 – 1894) SUNSET OVER THE HOMESTEAD. Oil on canvas landscape shows a herd of cows in a field by a farm with large trees, all under a sunset sky with earth tones throughout. Signed lower right, “G. INNESS”. Housed in a good gilt molded wood replacement frame. Accompanying painting is a conservation report dated 2003. Also including a photograph prior to restoration. SIZE: 18″ x 24″. CONDITION: Relined.
