HANDEL REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP. Beautiful reverse painted table lamp has a bright blue sky with white billowy clouds with birds in flight. The three dimensional scene shows bright foliage in the foreground, deep earthen hued trees in the mid-ground with autumnal leaves starting to show, ending with brilliant blue and green to background. The shade is supported by a vertically paneled Grecian urn base that rests upon a square platform and has three sockets with acorn pulls, pierced top cap and finial. A truly majestic lamp. Signed “Handel 711”. Base is stamped “Handel” to side of square platform. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Lamp is 23″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with minor oxidation to shade.
