TWO EARLY AMERICAN BUTTER PADDLES. First quarter 19th century. Both discovered in Pennsylvania. The first, in tiger maple, carved with a heart shaped handle. The second, probably a presentation piece, carved with a pierced heart in relief and with an onion form handle. SIZE: 1) 14-3/4″ l. 2) 13-3/4″ l.
