CLASSICAL MAHOGANY DROP-LEAF BREAKFAST TABLE. First quarter 19th century, probably New York. The rectangular single board top with hinged double elliptic leaves above the conforming frieze joined to a bulbous-turned pedestal on four outswept reeded square tapering legs terminating in brass capped hairy paw footed casters. SIZE: 28″ h x 25″ w x 39″ l. Open: 49-1/2″ l x 39″ w. PROVENANCE: From the private collection and estate of Robert Nugent, Glenridge, New Jersey. CONDITION: Very fine condition overall, with nice color and patina. 9-28219 (500-700)
