FINE PENNSYLVANIA CHIPPENDALE WALNUT SPICE CABINET. Last quarter 18th century. The rectangular cabinet with applied molding above a door of figured walnut enclosing an arrangement of five rows of small dovetailed spice drawers varying in size. Each with an original knob. The cabinet on a molded based raised on well-proportioned ogee bracket feet with shaped returns. Walnut with yellow pine secondary wood. SIZE: 21-1/4″ h x 15-1/4″ w x 12″ d. PROVENANCE: From a private Southern Maine collection. Philip H. Bradley Co. Antiques, Downingtown, Pennsylvania. CONDITION: Cabinet retains old surfaces. Professionally repolished.
