VERY FINE HEART SHAPED KEEPSAKE BOX. Early 19th century, Pennsylvania. The walnut body carved from the solid with applied applewood bottom. The lid similarly constructed. Inset with wooden pegs for fastening base to top. The bottom scratch inscribed “REGGIE ABBOT”. SIZE: 2-3/4″ h x 4″ l x 3-3/8″ w. CONDITION: With strong honey brown patina. Surfaces with old minor abrasions. Very good untouched condition. 9-28518 (800-1,200)
