EDWARD BARNARD LINTOTT (AMERICAN, 1875-1951) THE PINK ROSE. Large oil on canvas studio scene shows a nude woman seated in a French tapestry-covered side chair at a dressing table with mirror, brass candlestick and green bowl, having two pink roses. She holds a third pink rose in her hand, away from her body, and looks down at it. Long green drapes and a large painting is the backdrop. Signed lower right, “FRANK B. A. LINTOTT, 1901″. Housed in a magnificent reproduction carved wood and gilt frame. SIZE: 42″ x 27”. CONDITION: Relined and restored with inpainting. 9-97129 (8,000-10,000)
