TWO GALLE DECORATED CRUETS. Lot consists of two matching (one large, one small) bulbous cruets with gold gilt roses decorating the body; each rose is highlighted with a brick red enamel. Glass background has slight iridescence and each cruet is finished with a blue iridescent and faceted applied handle and stopper. Each cruet is signed on the underside in black enamel “E. Galle Nancy”. SIZE: 9-1/4″ and 5″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Private Collection of Dorothy Lee Jones. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor spotting to the iridescence on the shoulder of each cruet. 5-61779 (1,000-1,500)
