ARTHUR CLIFTON GOODWIN (AMERICAN, 1864-1927) ENTERING THE HARBOR. Oil on canvas nautical scene shows a large three mast sailing ship with tug beside, entering a harbor marked by red buoy. A smaller two-masted sail boat is seen with island and other sails all under cloudy skies with a glimpse of blue. Signed lower left. Housed in a fine replacement molded-wood, gilt frame with scallop shells at the corners and gilt liner. SIZE: 25″ x 30″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-97163 (7,000-9,000)
