Depicting a fox in full stride with pierced eye and serrated outline simulating fur, mounted to a steel rod and reinforced with original decorative wrought-iron supports. SIZE: Fox: 10-1/2″ x 38″. Overall h. with rod: 21-1/2″. PROVENANCE: Richard Paine Estate, Seal Cove, ME. CONDITION: Structurally very good overall, with old rusted and pitted surfaces, one old bullet hole in mid-section. 9-92537 (4,000-5,000)
