DAUM NANCY SEAGULL VASE. Daum vase is decorated with cameo and enamel seagulls flying against a setting sun with carved ocean waves below and a sea turtle lifting its head out of the water. The decoration is set against an opalescent and frosted background. The setting sun and lip of the vase are further highlighted with gilding. Signed on the underside in gold enamel “Daum Nancy” with cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 7-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-66996 (8,000-12,000)
