WALTER FARNDON (American, 1876-1964) “SHIMMERING WATERS”. Oil on masonite harbor scene shows two figures at the end of a dock with small boat. Two houses are seen at end of the water with trees and hills. All is reflected in the calm water. Signed lower right “Walter Farndon N.A.”. Housed in a fine carved and gilt wood frame with wide carved and gilt liner having a gilt wood artist plaque. Back having a Vose Galleries label with artist, title, etc. SIZE: 14″ x 18″.
