LOT OF 4 AMERICAN & FOREIGN BAYONETS & FIGHTING KNIVES. 1) German M98 WWII bayonet with 9-3/4″ blade, brown bakelite handles with SN 9633d. Accompanied by matching numbered steel sheath with a leather frog. 2) U.S. Camillus WWII fighting knife with orig leather sheath. 3) U.S. Remington M1917 bayonet cut to 6-1/2″ with handguard ground and lug slot filled with lead. Accompanied by a homemade leather sheath. 4) Imperial M7 U.S. bayonet for M16 with M8A1 Fiberglas steel & canvas sheath. PROVENANCE: From a coastal New Jersey home. CONDITION: 1) Fair. Blade heavily ground; handle is solid; sheath & handle are rusted; frog dry & cracked. 2) Lightly sharpened with hammer marks on back and bent handguard; handguard & pommel rusted; handle worn; sheath fine. 3) Heavily sharpened with rusted handguard & pommel; handles are fine; sheath is fine. 4) Very good. Blade nicked; chipped handle; otherwise fine with fine sheath. 9-24235 (200-400)
