LOG BOOK FOR THE SHIP “DELAWARE” DATED JANUARY, 1844. Outlining a cruise that originated in the harbor of Mahon, Spain. Included in the ship’s crew was Robert B. Storer. The trip and log end on March 22, 1844. The inside front cover in pencil signed “Robert B. Storer U.S.N.”. Also noted on the inside front cover is “Gulf of Mexico, April 14, 1845 U.S.N. Potomac bound to Vera Cruz out 150 miles intend to bombard the Castle of San Juan _ _ _ _ _ _”. SIZE: 9-3/4” x 8-1/4”. CONDITION: Binding soiled and stained. A number of the interior pages and most of the blank pages have been scribbled over at some time with various mathematical equations. 9-98740 (400-800)
