EARLY GLASS CELLO WHIMSY. Interesting early glass whimsy is done in the shape of a cello with a white nailsea drag loop pattern against a clear background. Cello body is decorated with applied glass flowers, stems and leaves on both front and back. Cello rests atop a wooden platform which originally supported a clear glass dome which is now missing. SIZE: 16-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Several pieces of the applied decoration have come loose and are either missing or have been glued back in place. 5-63851 (100-200)
