*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 DELUXE TAKE-DOWN RIFLE. SN 535707. Cal. 25-20WCF, 24″ oct bbl with Sheard brass bead front sight and King folding rear sight. Combination tang peep sight with coarsely knurled post. Left flat of bbl is marked “MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. / NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A. PATENTED OCTOBER 14. 1884.” Stock with fancy American black walnut. Pistol grip checkered stock with hard rubber grip cap, crescent steel buttplate. Checkered forend. CONDITION: All metal surfaces are reblued, with litle use or wear since the refinishing. Stock and forend are sound and have original finish with considerable finish wear and handling marks. The checkering is worn and the wood shows darkebing from oil. The bore is dark with generally strong rifling and some pitting.The action is mechanically sound. 4-40261 DS14 (3,000-4,000)
