EMILE ALBERT GRUPPE (American, 1896-1978) “GLOUCESTER DRAGGERS”. Oil on canvas harbor scene shows three fishing trawlers, two with green hulls moored side by side to a wharf with buildings. Other harbor buildings are seen beyond. Signed lower right. Housed in what appears to be its original gilt carved wood frame. This painting was exhibited at the North Shore Arts Association 75th Anniversary Show, Emile Gruppe-A Retrospective, August 2-31, 1997. SIZE: 20″ x 24″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96429 (10,000-15,000)
