LARGE SANDWICH GLASS COVERED DISH. This lacy glass dish and cover are of the Princess Feather Medallion & Basket of Flowers patterns. It was produced by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. from about 1830 to 1845. See Barlow & Kaiser, pg. 113, item 1028 for exact example. SIZE: Dish is 10-1/2″ x 9-3/4″, with lid in place 5-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Dish is very good to excellent with a few chips and flakes off the scallops only. Lid is very good to excellent with very minor roughness to the bottom edge. 5-63116 (400-600)
