DEDHAM POTTERY ‘DUCK’ PATTERN PLATE, MAUDE DAVENPORT. Together with a “DUCK” and a “IRIS” pattern plates. Each painted in dark and medium blue, stamped with “DEDHAM POTTERY” rabbit mark in underglaze-blue. The first with painted “o” cypher for Maude Davenport in the rim, dia. 9-3/4″. The “DUCK” plate with two additional impressed marks, dia. 7-1/2″. The “IRIS” plate dia. 7-1/4″. SIZE: As noted above. PROVENANCE: Richard Paine Estate, Seal Cove, ME. CONDITION: Small base rim chip to signed “DUCK” plate, the smaller “DUCK” plate with minor glazing loss to rim edge, the “IRIS” plate with minor craquelure on underside. 9-92515, 9-92507, 9-92508 (400-500)
