LARGE ANTIQUE CASED SHIP MODEL OF THE SCREW SLOOP “HARTFORD”. The U.S.S. Hartford was built in Boston Ma. 1859 by Harrison Loring. It was the flagship for Admiral David G. Farragut’s West Gulf Blockading Squadron. This model is outfitted with full rigging with no sails, plank deck ,4 lifeboats and many guns. Hull painted in black and white. Two part standing wood and glass floor display case. SIZE: Case: 63 1/2″ h x 49″ w x 16 1/2″d; Model: 40″l x 26″h. CONDITION: Very good 9-91018 (3,500-4,500)
