OUTSTANDING CARVED MIRROR WITH THULIN FRAME. 4” w deep carved oak frame has leaf decoration and molded inner and outer edge. Heavy plate glass mirror. Back with original inset corner metal braces. Unsigned. PROVENANCE: Thulin Estate, Hamden, Maine. Handed down through family descent from Walfred Thulin (1878-1949). Thulin worked for the Carrig-Rohane Workshop until he had his own shop in Boston from 1912 into the 1940’s. SIZE: Inside is 38-3/8” x 22-1/4”. Outside is 44-3/4” x 28-3/4”. CONDITION: One corner has edge slices, otherwise very good. 9-29904 (1,500-3,000)
