FREDERICK JOHN MULHAUPT (AMERICAN, 1871-1938) GOLDEN AUTUMN DAY. Fine oil on canvas scene shows an early fall day landscape having a stream with golden colored fields and tall trees. Two figures are seen under a tree looking over a flock of sheep. Small hills and valley is seen in the distance under a light blue and cloud sky. Signed lower left “Mulhaupt”. Housed in a fine carved and gilt wood wide replacement frame. Frame retaining a North Shore Art Association exhibit label from the Frederick J. Mulhaupt Exhibit, April 13-Oct 24, 1991.
