KONSTANTIN IVANOVICH GORBATOV (RUSSIAN, 1876-1945), RUSSIAN RIVER TRAFFIC. Oil on board scene shows number of covered boats, several with sails on a cold water river with snow-lined banks. A large building with onion-topped domes is seen on bluff with other buildings under gray skies. Signed lower left in Cyrillic, 191? (1916 or 1917). There is writing on the reverse with signature of artist and the date. Unframed. PROVENANCE: A copy of a letter of authenticity in Russian accompanies lot. SIZE: 13-3/4”h x 21-1/4”w.
