LOT OF TWO CIVIL WAR ERA REVOLVERS. (1) Colt Model 1860 Army. Cal. 44. SN 63955. Usual configuration with 8″ bbl, brass trigger guard, replacement iron backstrap, 1-pc walnut grips. CONDITION: Fair, mismatched, various numbered parts, no orig finish, heavy pitting on bbl, light pitting elsewhere. Fine replacement grips, loose mechanics, worn dark bore. (2) Remington New Model Army conversion. Cal. 44 CF. SN 26931. Usual configuration with 8″ oct bbl, replacement 2-pc walnut grips. Conversion done by machining back of cylinder and adding a ring with loading groove in the right recoil shield. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Dark blue/brown patina overall, good bbl markings, amateur made grips. Will not hold on half cock or safety, strong bright bore, light pitting.
