EUGENE CADEL (French, 1865-1940) THE HIDEAWAY. Oil on wood panel shows a sod or grass covered hut in tent like form with a door. It is seen on the edge of a field under a blue sky. Signed lower right “Eug. Cadel”. On back of panel is artist and address “Paris”. Housed in a small carved wood frame which may be original. SIZE: 6-1/4” x 8-1/2”.
