ENGRAVED SMITH & WESSON 32 SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 32 S&W. Nickel finish, 3-1/2” keyhole ribbed bbl with bird head, 2-pc ivory grips. New York style engraved with a bluebird and its nest on the sideplate and foliate arabesque elsewhere with about 60% coverage. SN 5940. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching except the grips which appear original to this revolver. Overall, it retains about 90% strong original nickel with most of the losses at the muzzle, front of the cylinder and around the forcing cone. Hammer retains about 50% good case colors. Grips are fine with beautiful color and nice grain patterns. Dark pitted bore, fine mechanics. 4-48082 JR171 (Anderson Collection) (700-1,200)
