RARE REMINGTON REVOLVING CARTRIDGE RIFLE.

RARE REMINGTON REVOLVING CARTRIDGE RIFLE. Cal. 46 RF. SN 187. One of only three known to consignor. It has 24” oct bbl, v-notch rear sight, standard front sight, blued finish, mounted in walnut stock, German silver fittings & crescent buttplate. This rifle is pictured on p. 103 of Guns of Remington, Madaus. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl & frame retain a medium brown patina with some silvered case colors showing through on frame. Bbl has a few spots of pitting with some light touch-up in those areas. Cylinder has been patina enhanced. Stock has a repaired crack through the wrist and retains all of a fine restored finish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore. 4-59358 JH15 (5,000-7,000)
