LOT OF NINE SWORDS & BAYONETS. (1) Fine French engineer’s short sword, 19-1/4″ flat ground spear point blade with saw back and brass Roman style handle. CONDITION: Very good. (2) Spanish machete/short sword with 16-1/4″ clip point blade, 2-1/4″ wide at ricasso, marked on the right side “TOLEDO” with a heavy cast brass handle, straight ball-end quillions, fish scale grip with lion head pommel, marked on the right side “O.P.” Accompanied by its orig brass & leather scabbard with frog. CONDITION: About good. Rusty blade, good handle, worn scabbard, dry and damaged frog. (3) 1909 Argentine machete with blue steel scabbard & frog. CONDITION: Very good. (4) Two French brass handle bayonets for needle fire rifles with 22-1/2″ yataghan blades, only one scabbard. CONDITION: Fair to good. (5) Two Gras rifle bayonets with 20-1/2″ blades, wood & brass handles, and one scabbard. CONDITION: Good. (6) Unmarked 98K WWII German bayonet without scabbard. Good.
