BIRGE LOVELL HARRISON (American, 1854-1929) “THE EVENING STAR”. Oil on board late evening scene shows a bright star in a bluish/green sky with dark clouds. It reflects upon some water that is surrounded by low grasses with woods beyond. Signed lower left under frame. Pencil titled and signed on back with a price of $50. Also a crayon “#872”.
