FERDINAND LEGER (French, 1881-1955) CIRCUS PERFORMERS. Watercolor scene shows black outline circus performers splashed with blue, red, orange and yellow swaths of color. The outside is mustard color. Signed lower right “F. L.”. Housed in a fine gilt molded wood replacement frame with double black matte. SIGHT SIZE: 19” x 25”. CONDITION: Both side edges have small tears, bottom left corner missing 1-1/2” section. Otherwise very good. 9-25587 (4,000-6,000)
