*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 FIELD GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN 2-BBL SET. Cal. 16 ga. SN 9477. Early “21” with 26” bbls (#1) choked MOD/IMP-CYL and 28” bbls (#2) choked SKEET1/SKEET2 that were originally choked FULL/MOD. Both bbls have tapered, concave, matted ribs, extractor & receiver has a blue, sgl selective trigger. Mounted with beautiful, shell grain, American walnut with splinter forearm & pistol grip stock, 14” over a Winchester embossed hard rubber buttplate. #1 BBLS: Bore diameter: left – .668, right – .668. Bore restrictions: left – .009, right – .005. Wall thickness: left – .027, right – .025. #2 BBLS: Bore diameter: left – .670, right – .669. Bore restrictions: left – .006, right – .003. Wall thickness: left – .022, right – .026. Drop at heel: 2-5/8”, drop at comb: 1-1/2”. Weight with 28” bbls: 6 lbs. 10.56 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. #1 bbls retain 75-80% strong orig blue, thin & gray over left bbl at chamber and thinning over right bbl. Light scratches by tip of forearm. #2 bbls retain 92-93% fine restored blue, thin over chamber areas with a small scrape or two. Receiver, floorplate & trigger guard retain most of, what is probably, a factory restored finish with some thinning on bottom edges. Wood is sound and retains about all of a reddish color, professionally restored finish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores. 4-60664 (4,000-7,000)
