*CUSTOM ENGRAVED REMINGTON MODEL 32 TRAP GUN THREE BBL SET. Cal. 12 ga. SN 1678. Beautiful 1932 made over-under with original 30” vent rib bbls, two beads, choked IMP MOD/IMP MOD. It has very nicely figured, custom, walnut wood with large, custom checkered forearm and pistol grip stock, 14-1/4” over a Pachmayr trap pad. It has single selective trigger and ejectors. The receiver is beautifully engraved in fine arabesque patterns with flowing ribbon-like vines. The left side has an elliptical vignette of a raised gold partridge flying over a grassy landscape. The right side has a similar vignette with raised gold pheasant over a landscape and the floorplate has a raised gold pigeon in a circle. All the vignettes have fine stippled background. The left side vignette is signed “N. HARTLIEP”. The locking block, lever, trigger guard, forend iron and 2 1/4” up the top bbl are matching engraved. It is accompanied by another set of 26” vent rib Remington bbls, choked SKEET IN/SKEET OUT, that have been numbered to the frame. These bbls are engraved identically to the originals. Also accompanied is an assembled 35-3/4” vent rib single bbl, choked FULL. CONDITION: Very fine. Retains virtually all of the fine custom finish to both metal and wood. Single bbl, however, shows light to moderate wear. Mechanics are fine. All bores are bright and shiny. Over-under trap bbls were refinished over some scattered fine pitting that is barely noticeable. 4-52381 JR179 (2,000-4,000)
