RARE 1893 PAWNEE BILL SHOW BROADSIDE. Shrink wrapped. Early newspaper 21-1/2″ x 15″, multiple pages dated “1893” & advertising for Thursday, May 25. He advertises the only herd of living Buffalo; a drove of wild Texas steers; a tribe of real war-like Sioux & Pawnee Indians; Spotted Tail, war chief of the Sioux Nation; Mexican vaqueros; cowboys & frontiersmen. Also a “bouquet” of beautiful wild western girls. Lower center is a line drawing depiction of wagon train being attacked by Indians. CONDITION: Fair. Very yellowed & brittle with some water staining & losses along both edges. Appears to be broken in middle. Needs to be re-wrapped. 4-57683 (100-200)
