*WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 RUSSIAN MUSKET. Cal. 7.62 X 54 Russian. SN 204685. Standard musket with 27 1/4” bbl, blade front sight and musket ladder rear sight. Full-length handguard, bayonet lug and handguard with straight stock and musket butt with trap. There is a small square stamp on the right side of the receiver that has three Cyrillic letters and there is a “15” on the right side of the lever. There is a cartridge stripper guide attached over the rear of the receiver. It has stacking swivel and sling swivels, missing the rear one. CONDITION: About good. Metal retains most of an old refinish. Handguard has a crack, otherwise the wood is sound and retains 40 -50% original finish. Strong bright bore, dark in the grooves. 4-52262 JR98 (750-1,250)
