*WINCHESTER SECOND MODEL 1890 CASE COLORED PUMP RIFLE. Cal. 22 short. Standard grade rifles with 24” tapered oct bbl, bead front sight and stamped sheet metal rear sight. It has tiny round ribbed forearm and straight stock with crescent steel buttplate. SN 69903. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbl and magazine tube retain 96-97% strong bright original blue with a very few scattered pinpoints of rust. The receiver retains 96-97% strong bright original case colors with some original shellac. There is a small fingerprint of rust on the right side. The upper tang retains 35-40% faded case colors, bright around the hammer. Lower tang and outside the trigger guard is mostly gray with traces of faded case colors. The buttplate retains about 95% strong dull case colors. Wood is sound and retains 96-98% strong original varnish with a 3” scratch and couple of bruises on the buttstock. Bright shiny bore with a couple spots of pitting. 4-49269 JR17 (4,500-7,000)
