*INSCRIBED SMITH & WESSON MODEL 36 CHIEF’S SPECIAL REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Special. Blued finish, 2” bbl, ramp front sight, smooth 2-pc medallion grips. Sideplate is inscribed in script engraving “TO R B WAYMAN/IN PAYMENT OF/DEBT/HANK MEANS,/DALLAS, 1979”. The left side of the grip frame under the grip is stamped with the number of various markings one of which is “X8295”. The same number appears inside the sideplate. SN J791159. CONDITION: Extremely fine, appears unfired, retains virtually of its original factory finish to both metal and wood. 4-48222 JR305 (Anderson Collection) (300-500)
