GOOD THREE-TIER CAST IRON PLANT STAND. Interesting stand having a top single round 6” pierced plate supported by a shaft which is supported by a three lobe shaped tier having three 9-1/2” plates with decorative connecting sections. This section is supported by three posts with attached woman’s profile decoration. Each shaft extends to a scroll leg having corner elements which support a large tier of three 13-1/2” pierced plates and three 9” pierced plates. Painted green. First half of the 20th Century. PROVENANCE: Fine private Long Island, New York mansion. SIZE: 43” h x 31” dia. CONDITION: Some rust, generally very good. 9-74163 MD (500-1,000)
