GÖRING PRESENTATION TYPE DAGGER. 10” spear point dbl edge blade. Etched “PAUL WEYERSBERG & CO / BERLIN” on the reverse. The large upswept wing eagle/swastika crossguard and other mounting parts are silver-plated. The collar and pommel collar have roped designs. The pommel has a knot. The scabbard has raised oak leaves on both sides. The ivory grip has five grooves. There are four rnd marks on the reverse of the crossguard. The details on the crossguard are only partially completed. There is some pitting below the silver-plating on the scabbard. CONDITION: Corners of the blade show wear with a few spots of pitting below the maker’s logo. Most of the silver-plating is intact. Ivory has several stains and a scratch on the front. 4-58169 (2,500-3,500)
