ANTIQUE WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SRC. Cal. 30 WCF. SN 23698. Standard carbine with 20” bbl, full magazine, square base front sight and carbine ladder rear sight. It has a stud and ring in the left side of the receiver, uncheckered wood with long forearm, straight stock and carbine buttplate. The comb has four large notches carved. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain about 95% strong original blue. Receiver retains about 70% original blue turned gray on the bottom and turning brown on the top. Wood, as noted, is sound with usual handling nicks and scratches and a couple of dings. Strong bright bore, dark in the grooves. 4-51540 JR168 (1,000-1,500)
