*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SPECIAL ORDER LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32-40. SN 877948. Standard grade rifle with 26″ octagon to round bbl, Jack front sight and flat top original rear sight. It has button magazine and uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Extremely fine, near new. The bbl retains about 98% strong bright original blue with extremely minor muzzle edge wear. The receiver retains about 97% strong bright original blue with very minor sharp edge wear and two or three tiny spots of surface rust and a small nick. The floorplate has a small rub. The lever & hammer and top tang retain virtually all of their original blue with some minor flaking on the lever. The buttplate is flaked to about 50% original finish with the flaked areas a medium patina. The wood is sound with a few scattered, very minor, handling & storage marks and retains virtually all of its bright original factory varnish.
