Bottom marked “Reproduction sterling 3100 48 oz.” and company monogram “CR”. Inscription as follows: “New York Racing Association The Woodward Aqueduct 1964 Won by Gedney Farms’ Gun Bow Trainer: W. A. Neloy”. Gun Bow was a Bay Colt foaled in 1960 by Gun Shot-Robbons and Bows, by triple crown winner War Admiral. An impressive 42 starts having 17 wins for a total earned of $798,722. The Woodward was a 1-1/4 mile race and in this race Gun Bow beat Kelso. Gun Bow is also in the Horse Racing Hall of Fame. WEIGHT: Including handle is 32 tr. oz. SIZE: 12-1/2” h.
