*COLT ALL BLUE MODEL 1911A1 SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 45 ACP. SN 733786. Scarce transition all blue 1911A1 with 5” bbl & fixed sights. It has full checkered, brown plastic grips with donuts & non-reinforced insides. Accompanied by a “G” code all blue magazine. Bbl is proper military with a “P” proof on left side of lug & no other marks. Left side of frame has “R.S.” inspector stamp in a rectangle with a “P” below magazine release button. The rear sight is a parkerized replacement and there is a “P” on top of slide. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Slide, which is unnumbered, retains 95-96% strong, bright, orig blue with muzzle & sharp edge wear and some chemical spotting near left front. Frame retains about 80% bright orig blue with a gray front strap that has a few spots of light pitting. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore.
