*AUTO ORDNANCE MODEL 1927A1 SEMI-AUTO THOMPSON CARBINE BY AMERICAN HISTORICAL FOUNDATION. Cal. 45 ACP. SN 29073. Standard Thompson with 19” bbl including muzzle brake. Rear half of bbl has cooling fins and is mounted with a rectangular, grasping groove forearm. Mounted with uncheckered, nicely figured walnut, with pistol grip & smooth steel buttplate with trap. Bbl, receiver & small parts are very high polish blue with gold plated muzzle brake, bolt handle, rear sight base & trigger. Wood has a high gloss urethane type finish. Each side of buttstock has a small green enameled medallion with the date “14 JUNE 1775” and right side of grip has the U.S. Army symbol. Right side of receiver is etch-engraved with gold filling with an American flag and two Army symbols with the inscription “UNITED STATES ARMY COMMEMORATIVE THOMPSON” / “THIS WE’LL DEFEND”. Accompanied by a 20-rd stick magazine & a military sling. Also accompanied by its orig, green felt lined, glass topped, walnut casing with an inlaid brown & gold plaque. Also accompanied by American Historical Foundation booklet & miscellaneous paperwork. CONDITION: New, unfired & uncycled. It still has its orig plastic bundle tie around bolt.
