*M1 CARBINE CALIBER 30 BY ERWIN PEDERSEN. Cal. 30. SN 1777123. This is an example of an early and rare Erwin Pedersen M1 carbine, though it is refinished and some of the parts are reproduction. Nonetheless it is an example of one of the rarest makers of the M1 carbine. It has an Underwood bbl dated “6-44”, though barely legible, with a reproduction front bbl band assembly attached. Trigger housing is late S?G? as is the hammer. Push button safety and magazine catch are totally unmarked on the exterior. Bolt is Inland and rear sight is two pitted to get a makers name. CONDITION: Bbl & receiver retain 98% of repark. Front sight has approx. 80% orig finish. Front bbl band retains all of its finish as it is a reproduction. The S/G slide retains 98% of a repark as does the Inland bolt. Trigger guard assembly retains 98% of the repark finish. Buttstock is a Winchester low wood in excellent condition with no major dings or scuffs with an “IR” stamped in the channel. Upper hand guard is marked “IO” and is also in near perfect condition. Mechanics and bore are both excellent. 4-58356 BK24 (500-1,200)
