CASED MODEL OF THE ARMED AMERICAN SCHOONER “LARK”. The Lark was built in 1812 and sailed as a privateer under government commission. She was ordered to attack vessels of nations with which America was in a state of war. Representing a typical Baltimore clipper. Built with a solid hull, built bulwarks, laid deck, six guns, four figures and authentically rigged and painted. Scale is 1/8th to 1. It is mounted to a wood platform and housed in a removable glass case. SIZE: 17”h x 24”l x 9”w. CONDITION: Very good. 9-73744 (400-800)
