*LOT OF TWO ENFIELD RIFLES. 1) Winchester Model 1917. Cal. 30-06. SN 68713. 26” bbl. Rifle is in very good condition overall, pleasing to look at, mechanically very sound and having a very good bore. CONDITION: Receiver retains approx. 85-90% blue with very slight surface rust on right side ear of sight. Bolt is turning plum with some slight surface rusting on handle. Bbl is Winchester and dated “11-17” with 90% blue. Front sight & bands have virtually no finish and are almost straw in color. Trigger guard assembly has approx. 75% blue with most of loss being at the lowest portion. Floorplate has no finish. Wood is in very good plus condition with just minor scuffing and nice sharp finger grooves. Buttplate has surface rust in its entirety. Mechanics are fine. 2) ERA P14 Enfield. Cal. 303. SN 44003. 26” bbl. Rifle is in fine condition with 90% blue throughout, has been well kept in grease. Stock is of the non-finger groove type with grenade sights on receiver and on left side of stock. Bore is in very good condition. Front stacking swivel is missing. CONDITION: Receiver retains 95% orig blue with British proof marks and a good coat of grease. Bbl & bands also retain 95% or better blue as does floorplate and trigger guard assembly. Bolt body is polished bright. Buttplate retains approx. 75% blue with no rust or pitting and wood is in very good to excellent condition with just the most minute scuffing with a nice legible British stamping on right hand side with Canadian broad arrow.
