*WINCHESTER 2ND MODEL 1890 PUMP RIFLE. Cal. 22 WRF. SN 85169. Standard rifle with 24” oct bbl, 1/2-nickel front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has case colored receiver and straight grain American walnut wood with tiny ribbed forearm and straight stock with crescent buttplate. The bbl and receiver have the “WP” proof. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbl retains 75-80% dull original blue and the magazine tube about 90%. Receiver retains 50-60% faded case colors with the balance turned silver. Buttplate is a silver patina. Stock has a crack by the top tang, otherwise the wood is sound showing heavy wear with traces of original finish on the buttstock while the forearm is dark and oil stained. Mechanics are fine, worn dark bore with moderate pitting. 4-52638 JR345 (800-1,200)
